50 is the new 30
A happy birthday to all since this is our year to turn 50! A few months ago I received my first mailings to receive my AARP card. Thought that was just stuff my Dad got in the mail. Here is the link just in case you missed yours 
Personally, at 50 I am just getting started, I hope you are too.
You know you are turning 50 when…
- When your back goes out more than you do
- You are proud of your lawn mower
- You buy a compass for the dash of your pickup
- Your ears have more hair than your head
- You talk about good grass and you’re referring to the neighbors lawn
- You go bowling without drinking
- You have a party and your neighbors don’t realize it
- You hear your favorite song on the elevator
- Young guys pass you up and yell “Get a horse!”
- Uncles feel comfortable telling jokes around you
- Burger King and a movie is the whole date, instead of the start of one
- Boones Farm wine is not “pretty good stuff”
- “I can’t drink like I use to…” replaces “I’m never gonna drink again”
